Both flicks hinge on spectacular special effects and the glamour quotient of its starcast. Pritam's compositions in Dhoom 2 are funky too (especially Crazy Kiya Re) but the bhangra mix song Dil Laga Na in the second half set me yawning. And I thought the Hrithik-Aishwarya liplock was way over-rated. Also, what finally happens to Abhishek's wife, baby and Bipasha (Shonali) Basu? Any guesses?

Tony ji, i quite agree to u. i think the director (under par) had predetermined that he would make it a slick film (though unrealistic use of gadgets, chase sequences and hilarious stunts often make you think whether they have used their brains or just stylised the actor to make them only a silver screen character! even the new bond movie is pretty realistic with chase sequences, use of gadgets and girls!) ashwarya, though i hav a big time crush on her, has fail 2 impress with her acting skills though she made the cold winter evening hot for many i'm sure!)
ReplyDeletebut tony i believe it's a one time watch for sure! if at all one likes the idea of a glamourised thief and his sassy mistress!! wht say bro???
Anonymous: It surely is worth a watch compared to all the trash Bollywood keeps churning out :)
ReplyDeleteThank God, Priyanka had the good sense to realise what a shitty role Shonali-cum-Monali Bose was!
